2003-01-10 at 2:48 p.m. ahhh, friday. so thankful for the weekend, and the fact that, for once, i am not working friday or saturday! that NEVER happens. usually i work friday, saturday, and sunday. old navy is so depressing now though. since we're closing they don't need as many workers, so when i worked on wednesday, i was in charge of the left half of the store, jenna was in charge of the right half and fitting room, and two people did register. the floors are emptying out too. as much as i complained, i really had begun to like it just before the break. the people seemed a lot cooler, and there was always something to do. now its just depressing to go in. ah well, and so the job search begins! i swear i've lived in the computer lab the past three days. i skipped classes to work on sips, i spent every free period doing sips. my powerpoint is pretty good, so now its the bullshit part of the project. the journals and the diaries. what a better way to say "hey, this year is useless, but you still have to take it even though you got a 96 on the regents exam which tested everything you ever learned in english". but, sure, i'll be treated like a 5 year old just a little bit longer. i can't wait for the rest of my life to begin.
